On Point- We Heart Embroidery!!
We can’t deny it- we’re pretty stoked about Nordic Fest this weekend! It’s a great opportunity to catch up with friends, new and old, while enjoying some traditional Norwegian treats (lefse, anyone?)
What we’re even more excited about are the Nordic embroidered-inspired pieces that we’re carrying right in our boutique. Embroidery in Viking history dates back to the first half of the ninth century so it’s a craft that’s been practiced for centuries!
Check out some of these fabulous Embroidered styles that we’re current stocking in our boutique!
The Leah Skirt has a wonderful A-line silhouette, which is perfect for several body types. Featuring colorful embroidery in reds, oranges, pinks, and greens, this is PERFECT for a Saturday afternoon, sampling the Norwegian cuisine or an evening out. We’ve paired it with the Harley bodysuit for a fun and classic look.
The looser fitting Marit top features two Rosemaling inspired panels for a breezy, fun look. Pair it with our best selling Lulu shorts and Ainsley Sandals for an easy Sunday look.
The Annika top is that perfect item to take you from summer to Fall. We love the lightweight feel of it. On top of that, the bright, contrasting embroidery creates an effortless touch of style! We love this top, and how it flatters so many body types!
Style Tip: Tuck it in with a skinny jean and add a pair of sandals or low boot for a casual, fun look.
Our Eliana t-shirt dress is perfect for all of your Fest activities, and will work beautifully on even the warmest of July days. The dress is available in both red and black.
Both have rich embroidered patterns on them (check out the detailing to see yourself!) Add a fun, strappy sandal (a similar style to what the model is wearing is available here on our website) or canvas sneaker to complete the outfit!
Want to check out these great, embroidered items in person? Trendsetters, stop into Modish Thursday-Saturday during Nordic Fest! We’re open all day, and would love to see as many of you as are around!
It’s a jam-packed weekend featuring something for everyone! Don’t forget about the Grand Parade on Saturday morning, and the Norwegian food stands!
See you at Nordic Fest!
